Our Vision

Vision No. 1

This is all about making designers, architects, and other creators look good. We run D.L. Couch like a fire station: always ready, responsive, quick, and most importantly, good at getting done what needs to be done. We put out fires. Prevent them. And we’re willing to risk our necks to save someone.

Vision No. 2

This is all about inspiration. It's about creating beautiful, functional, reliable, well-crafted, stimulating, versatile designs to help our clients find inspiration—going beyond the role of merchant to the role of muse (or, at least, summoner of the muse).

Vision No. 3

This is all about advocacy. Design and architecture, with all its discipline and rule-breaking, method and chance, is our love. We are here to make the world a better place for designers, through programs, offerings, efforts, scholarships, student work, and helping fortify the design community.

Vision No. 4

This is all about saving: money, resources, the planet we’re all improving (right?) with our designs and plans. We believe new wallcoverings are an improvement over paint, both for cutting costs, and friendly behavior toward the environment over the long term. We want more designers, architects and creators to understand that.
